Dr. Aniksha Balamurugan grew up in Queens, New York as well as Long Island. She attended Dartmouth College and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering. She then worked for two years in healthcare consulting in Boston before earning her MD and MBA through a joint degree program at Tufts University School of Medicine and Brandeis Heller School. During this time, she focused on using business principles to improve systematic issues in medicine, especially within pediatric care. After much time on the east coast, she moved to Los Angeles to complete her pediatrics residency at UCLA before joining PAMG.

Dr. Balamurugan’s primary joy in pediatrics is developing close, long-term relationships with families and empowering them with the tools they need to be healthy through all the stages of life. She particularly values a holistic, evidence-based approach to care, recognizing the many factors that shape a child’s health and the profound privilege of being entrusted with their well-being.

In her free time, she enjoys being outdoors, attending concerts, and cooking with her husband, Shreyas, and their beloved dog, Astro
