Policies

Thank you for choosing Pediatric Associates Medical Group to care for your child.  We strive to provide the best medical care for your child.  We understand that although you may be comfortable with your physician, you may still have some questions about our practice policies.

We are contracted with most PPO insurance plans.  As a courtesy, we will file a claim with your child’s insurance plan for you.  However, it is your responsibility to pay all co-payments, co-insurance, and deductible at the time of service.

We try to keep our scheduled appointments in a timely manner.  Please arrive 10 minutes prior to your child’s appointment so that our staff can prepare your child for his or her visit.  Patients who arrive more than 15 minutes late for their appointment will be rescheduled.  If your unable to keep your child’s appointment, please cancel 24 hours in advance to avoid a $50.00 no-show fee.

We have an annual administrative fee to cover services that are not covered by your insurance. Please see this link for a full explanation of our policy.

Annual Administrative Fee Policy

If your doctor orders laboratory tests that is not run in our office, you will receive a separate bill from the laboratory facility.  This fee is your financial responsibility.

Vaccines were created to decrease the morbidity and mortality associated with numerous preventable diseases.  As part of our preventative care philosophy we encourage that all of our patients are vaccinated.

Routine Visits

Scheduled well-child checks are essential from preventative care.  These visits address your child’s growth and development.  Your doctor will discuss anticipatory guidance for your child.  These visits focus on disease prevention though screening exams, laboratory tests, and immunizations.
